Horribly unprofessional. Did not stick to contract yet used contract to keep my deposit. And when explaining the approach and how contract was breached multiple times and I was forced to leave all my items in OH because when booked I told them I could only afford 1.7 k tops and they quoted me 4.7k at the time of pick up…because they (the movers) got out the van it allowed them to keep my $640 deposit. Keep in mind I lost my job and had to move and they knew this. I even called and was on hold for over an hour to cancel and was told it would be addressed with billing and I would get a call. Call never took place. I had to reach out. The supervisor or owner was so unprofessional the entire time. Confirming pick up times outside the window agreed because of a cancellation then tried to gaslight me. When I explained why I canceled the move he was inconsiderate and not compassionate and wouldn’t even work with me to give me some deposit even though everything in contract was breached before they ever arrived. Never want to use movers ever again because of this terrible experience. Do not recommend. We’ll be reporting to better business for their misconduct. Wish I would have recorded their unprofessional manner. Honestly a scam for keeping my deposit and not even working with me or answering me before I was forced to send movers away. Stay far away and use another company or you are better off moving yourself, it’s cheaper. I had to leave all my things and forced to fly with just the checked bags after having downsize 3 bedroom apartment and 30 years into those three bags. I even had to leave my dog because of this inconvenience. The least the could have done was give me half my deposit especially having used my vulnerability of losing my job and desperation to use their constant knowing it would cost so much and force me to cancel. Please stay away!

Ishmael and his crew Juan, Danny and Cheeseburger did a phenomenal job for me today. Big house with a lot of handmade furniture, they took great care with wrapping and handling each piece. Also made quick work of loading the heavy equipment in my wood shop. They had a great attitude about it all and were easy to work with. The guys in the office were also very responsive throughout the process. Thanks guys!

We used American Moving to facilitate an 11 room relocation of cabinetry for our custom woodworking business. The pricing was fair and the process of getting an estimate was simple. The moving crew did a fantastic job of securing our items and nothing was damaged during transit. The unload went smoothly and the crew was very mindful of the new build home so that nothing was damaged. We won't hesitate to use them again.

American Moving & Storage was amazing from start to finish! It was super easy to set up the move, and virtually send photos of the space I was moving out of. The day before the move I was contacted to confirm the appointment, and the day of, the movers arrived right on time. The crew was professional and courteous. The packing and the actual move took less time than expected, and all my items arrived in my new place in great shape. I will definitely recommend American Moving & Storage to my friends and family, and work with them again for any future moves.

Juan, Luis, Ernesto, and Rios are fabulous! They were so caring in how everything was wrapped and packed. Even the tough furniture, such as antique hutch, was disassembled and moved with such expertise and care. This is why I use Bekins/ American Moving Company. I will definitely move them again!
